According to Abbreviation Finder, the state of Nevada (NV) is located in the western United States and consists largely of mountainous areas. Nevada mainly has to deal with arid climates, such as the hot and cold desert climate. With annual precipitation amounts ranging from about 25-30 to over two hundred millimeters, Nevada is one of the driest places in the Northern Hemisphere. Americans mainly come to Nevada to gamble and party. Especially the city of Las Vegasattracts millions of gamblers every year to the gigantic casinos in the even more impressive hotels. Las Vegas is also known for being able to arrange a wedding quickly. You can, so to speak, marry your one-night stand at the end of the evening. You see this theme regularly in American films, especially in comedic films.

The climate of Las Vegas
Gambling city numero uno, that is the city of Las Vegas in Nevada. Millions of visitors come to Las Vegas every year to gamble, go out and party. The climate of Reno
Reno is located in northwestern Nevada at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Reno, like Las Vegas, is famous as a gambling city and almost all major casinos are located here. Until the 1960s, Reno was America’s largest gambling city, but has now been overtaken by Las Vegas. In the summer, north of the city in the Black Rock Desert, the Burning Man Festival is held. During this festival, more than 50,000 visitors come to the Black Rock Desert and together form a kind of mini-city in this desert for a week.
Despite its location on the leeward side of the Sierra Nevada and the associated rainfall, Reno has a steppe climate. There can be considerable amounts of snow in the winter months. Sometimes even so much that the highways to the city are closed. Thunderstorms and storms can occur in the east side of the city and the surrounding hills, the wind that causes it the Washoe Zephyr. This makes it windy all year round. Reno has 300 days of sunshine per year.
