People in Marshall Islands
Most of the Marshall Islands' 72,000 residents are
from Micronesia. Since no people can live on many
atolls, they only settle on certain islands. These are
quickly overpopulated and it gets tight. Since the
population is growing very quickly, this also creates
problems (see everyday life).
Languages in Marshall Islands
The languages are Marshallese in several dialects
and English.
Religions in Marshall Islands
The proportion of Protestants is very high at 90 out
of 100. 8 out of 100 residents are Catholics. There
remains a small remnant of adherents of the Baha'i
religions, of Adventists and of Mormons.
