Meet the Winter of Florinda

In June 1908, hundreds of Japanese families arrived in Brazil aboard Kasato Maru to work on farms in the West. They brought with them the perfectionism and the lightness that are reference to the winter of 2017 Florinda. Called Gaijin, Japanese word meaning foreigner, the collection of the brand makes a trip to Nikkei roots with shapes and fluttering, prints and embroideries that commemorate the land of the rising sun and the largest Japanese community outside of Japan.

Minimalism is the keyword of the season with relocating parts of the body in water commissions overlays, dress shirt and overalls of waists marked with obis. The square models, like the kimono and the parkas military weight from Threergroup, share a stage with romantic looks full of ruffles and transparencies. In game, successful mix of smooth textures with strong materials to looks with unusual overlays.

Fabrics such as tweed, jacquards, tricolines structured for the shirt and sweatpants with lurex stand out in the collection, valued with waxed laces, tulle, sparkles relaxed and leathers designed with laser. Embroidery, lace and finishes complement the details in manuals crocheting and abotoamentos.

In the color palette, the military green, pistachio and rose shades darker as Bordeaux follow the nudes and purple gradient, beyond Earth, blood red, Navy Blue and celeste. Printed travel since the floral East to figurative prints of birds, Tigers and CARP. Origami designs appear in surprising ways, as well as the mix of chess, camouflaged and coffee.

Key parts of the collection are the peasant dresses, printed tricôs, jeans jackets mega oversize, slip dress, braided belts obi style, shirts with lace trims, parkas and croppeds. Jeanswear line brings figurative elements embroidery and printed the laser in more conceptual pieces.
